In October 2007, Developers Diversified announced the formation of a new joint venture to develop shopping centers with Toronto-based Rice Commercial Group. The partners are working on a mixed-use center and open-air shopping centers.
Developers Diversified has also formed a joint venture with Holborn Property Investments, Inc., based in Vaughan, Ontario, to develop shopping centers.
